Barbados is indeed a golfers paradise with six existing golf courses and several more being developed. There is something for everyone as Barbados golf courses appeal to the recreational golfer and the more serious!
Our reputation as a golfing destination has been steadily growing and was further enhanced with the hosting of the 2006 World Golf Championships World Cup at one of the Sandy Lane courses. The Royal Westmoreland course is a regular host of a PGA European Tour Seniors tournament.
Par 70,5610 yd course on Barbados’ south coast. Testing all abilities of golfers, the course can be rewarding for the big hitter but cruel on the wayward aggressive shot.
Royal Westmoreland
A members-only golf club offering special arrangements for island visitors. Designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr., Royal Westmoreland is also one of the world’s most exciting resort courses, complete with a spa, tennis, restaurants and golf villas.
Sandy Lane
Choose from one of three courses – The Old Nine, the Country Club Course and the Green Monkey Course. The 2 latter courses were both designed by Tom Fazio.
Other facilities available at Sandy Lane include a restaurant, spa, tennis, children’s club and watersports.
Apes Hill Club
The championship golf course at Apes Hill Club boasts of sparkling lakes, lush pasture land and coral stoned quarries which all come together to give golfers a comfortable and exciting environment to make the perfect birdie.
