Booking Conditions

For Palm Villa, Maynards, St Peter, Barbados, Caribbean.


The terms and conditions set out below apply to all members of the party on whose behalf the booking is made and forms your contract with Palm Villa Property Management.

 

1. Agreement
The making of a booking (unless cancelled within 7 working days of receipt of confirmation) will form an agreement between you, the Visitor, and Palm Villa Owners for the holiday rental of Palm Villa.

 

2. Booking and Payment

For bookings made 8 weeks or more in advance, a non-refundable deposit of 30% is required on booking. For bookings made less than 8 weeks before arrival, full payment must be made. Balances are due 8 weeks prior to arrival. If the booking details are incorrect, or you do not receive confirmation of your booking within 10 days, please contact the Owners. All payments due are in GB pounds. You may pay by cheque or bank transfer. You must provide details of all members of your party along with your flight number.

 

3. Cancellation
Unless written notice of cancellation is received within 8 weeks of booking, you will be liable for the full amount due. The deposit is non-refundable.

 

 4. Services
The holiday price will include all charges for water, gas, and electricity. Air conditioning must only be used when the room is occupied and windows must not be left open. Excess usage of the air conditioning may be billable.

 

5. Lost Property

Lost property will normally be disposed of within 2 months and a reasonable administration fee to cover the costs of storage and handling may be charged. 

 

6. Pets
Pets are not permitted except for Assistance Dogs, where notification is required before booking.

 

7. Damage
The Visitor will be responsible for any damage whether caused by the Visitor or their party. Any damage or breakages must be reported to the housekeeper as soon as possible prior to your departure of the villa. The villa must be kept and left in the same state of repair and condition, and in a clean and tidy state, as at the commencement of the holiday. Lost keys are chargeable.

 

8. Guests
Activities that may be a nuisance or annoyance to Owners, other guests or to any neighbours is not permitted. Complaints by neighbours may result in your deposit being withheld.

 

9. Smoking

Smoking is not permitted in the villa.

 

10. Candles & BBQs
The use of candles and outdoor BBQs are permitted but must not be left unattended at any time. The use of candles is not permitted anywhere inside the villa.

 

11. Occupation

The villa may only be used for the purpose of a holiday by the Visitor and the Visitor’s party, and not for any other purpose. The maximum occupancy shall not be exceeded without the expressed permission of the owners (i.e. a wedding, party celebration).

 

12. Comments
Any problems should be immediately reported to the housekeeper or agent.

 

13. Arrival and Departure Times

Arrival times, flight numbers and times, must be advised for all party members. Check out time is 12 midday.

 

14. Termination

Termination of your stay at the villa may be enforced without notice if the behaviour of any party member is deemed to be unacceptable, (without compensation being payable to the Visitor or any member of his or her party).
